FUGA is Itallian for 'flight' or 'escape', an escape from the norm. In Cycling terms it refers to the breakaway, the head of the race.

And that's exactly what FUGA stands for. Since we are a small company, working with a Limited Edition series, we gladly escape from the norm and offer our clients a new racing experience. At FUGA, we aim to allow to experience what it feels like to be a cycling hero.

FUGA is a small Belgian brand with global orientatin. It was launched 13 years ago, about the same time the first Australian continental team was launched by Belgians Gilbert De Weerdt and Rudi Dubois. So ithas been in the international race circuit from the early start.

Nevertheless, you are excused if you have never seen one of our custom bikes flashing past your eyes, since it was only from the beginning of 2008 that we teamed up with one of he best Belgian design teams, Pinkoliv, to rebrand and reposition it in the market.

FUGA winks to a romantic era in which cyclists were still considered as national heroes, succesful decades in which Belgian cycling momuments like Eddy Merckx, Herman Van Springel, Lucian Van Impe, Freddy Maertens, Eric Vanderaerden and Eddy Planckaert were welcomed like kings after one of their glorious victories.

In that era, cyclists had a personal connection with their bikes, it was more than a composition of high-tech components. It is this mindset that drives Fuga.

The last decades, a lot of our colleagues have invented great new concepts. We know, however, that it is not the material, nor the production process, ot even the geometry,.... it is what you wit all these elements that make the difference. So we are bold about this: Our concepts are not about the technical inventions but about human interaction with the bike: We don't bring you '20k' carbon, we have EC concepts which stands for 'Emotional Carbon'. We don't bring you 20 different sizes and colours. we offer a CRG concept to build your frame to perfectly fit your body, painted in your favorite colour.

Yes, we deliver High Tech stuff, but with Old School Emotion.
